Verona Railway Porta Nuova

Verona can be reached by plane (Catullo Airport) or from Milan and Venice aboard Trenitalia trains (www.trenitalia.it).

 

Veronas main railway station is called Verona Porta Nuova. It is located about 20 minutes on foot from the central square near the Roman arena.

 

There are also direct connections with various EuroCity trains run by DB and OeBB from Munich, Innsbruck, Bolzano/Bozen and partially Bologna and Venice.

 

From Verona Porta Nuova to Vicenza, Padua, Venezia Santa Lucia (Venice), Brescia and Milano Centrale (Milan) run high-speed Trenitalia regional trains (Regionali veloci, Regio Express).

 

There is a left-luggage office at the station, located in the central underpass. There is a fee of 5 euros per bag for the first 5 hours. After that, you pay an additional hourly fee. (valid as of: December 2012)
